Since 1864, the Zuflucht has stood for retreat, hospitality and living tradition. What was once a shelter for walkers is now a hotel with heart. Over 150 years of history have left their mark – in the best way. The Zuflucht has been an inn, a youth hostel, a stopover. Today it is a haven for all who seek peace, nature and genuine hospitality. And as the first hotel in the national park, it is a gateway to quiet trails, wide-open views and authentic Black Forest experiences.
